Shakur Franklin, a 16-year-old African American male from Erie, PA, tragically lost his life on July 24, 2015. He was fatally shot at a house party near West 29th and Summit Streets in Erie. The incident occurred when multiple bullets were fired into the crowd, resulting in the deaths of Shakur Franklin and his friend, 16-year-old Elijah Jackson.
