Calvin L. Talley, a 41-year-old man from Venice, Illinois, tragically died on December 29, 2014. His death was the result of a violent home invasion and shooting. On the night of his death, two masked intruders forced their way into Talley's home and demanded money. During the ensuing scuffle, Talley was shot and later succumbed to his injuries at a hospital. Two other individuals present at the scene were not harmed.
