In a tragic and violent incident that unfolded in Erie, Pennsylvania, 16-year-old Treavon Hopkins, a male, lost his life on August 19, 2023. The teenager was a victim of a double murder-suicide that also claimed the life of 23-year-old Janikqua Anderson. The events took place at a residence in the 1100 block of East 27th Street in the early morning hours.

Erie Police were called to the scene where they discovered the bodies of Hopkins and Anderson. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. ...
