On February 17, 2017, at approximately 1:12 a.m., Philadelphia Police Officers responded to a bar on the 2200 block of West Indiana Street in North Philadelphia. Upon arrival, they discovered Eugene Farmer, a 46-year-old Black male, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, Eugene did not survive.
