Rasheim Childs, 48, a Black male, was shot in the predawn hours of Sunday, August 24, 2025, on the 1700 block of West Ruscomb Street in Philadelphia’s Logan neighborhood. Police said two men were hit when gunfire broke out just before 3 a.m.; Childs was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
