In the quiet community of Cranesville, Pennsylvania, the life of 36-year-old Pamela Buren was tragically cut short on the evening of May 11, 2017. A white female, Pamela was a mother to six children whom she adored and with whom she loved to embark on adventures, whether it was hiking in national parks or simply enjoying a day at Lake Erie. She was known for her free spirit and a sense of humor that could always bring a smile to those around her, often sharing funny stories that left a lasting

The events that unfolded on that spring evening were a grim conclusion to what police described as a domestic argument. Inside their home, Pamela's longtime partner of 22 years, 41-year-old Robert Senyo II, turned a moment of conflict into a tragedy. Senyo fatally shot Pamela before taking his own life. The horror of the incident was compounded by the fact that four of their six children, ranging in age from 7 to 14, were in the residence at the time and witnessed aspects of the murder-suicide.
In the aftermath of the harrowing event, the Pennsylvania State Police from the Girard barracks responded to the scene. Their investigation confirmed the sequence of events as a murder-suicide, and as such, there were no arrests to be made and no outstanding suspects to pursue. The case was closed with the determination that Robert Senyo II was the sole perpetrator.
