On December 11, 2017, Kayla Ruby, a 20-year-old woman from Saxton, Pennsylvania, tragically lost her life in a murder-suicide incident. Kayla Ruby was born on April 20, 1997, and was a graduate of Everett Area High School. She was employed at the Homewood Retirement Center and enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and horseback riding.
