Elizabeth Grisel Vega-Tirado, a 48-year-old woman of Puerto Rican ethnicity, tragically lost her life on June 27, 2017, in York, Pennsylvania. She was fatally shot outside Bev's Grocery on West Princess Street and South Belvidere Avenue. Vega-Tirado was an innocent bystander who was struck by gunfire while attempting to dodge a vehicle that cut her off as she was crossing the street. She was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
