Calvin Turner, a 20-year-old male from Pittsburgh, PA, tragically lost his life on August 8, 2017. Turner was shot and killed at Terrace Village, a housing community on Oak Hill Drive in Pittsburgh's Hill District. The incident occurred in the evening, and a private security guard working in the area reported hearing three gunshots before seeing a suspicious man, later identified as Tevin Patterson, fleeing the scene.
