On July 1, 2019, Ricky Deon Moultrie, a 20-year-old male from Pittsburgh, PA, was found shot to death in a car on Lee Way near Sunrise Avenue in the East Hills neighborhood. Responding officers from Zone 5 discovered Moultrie with a gunshot wound to the head, and Pittsburgh EMS declared him dead at the scene. The investigation into his death was ongoing, with Pittsburgh police searching for the shooter and trying to determine the motive behind the crime.
