In the early hours of April 12, 2021, the life of 20-year-old Jalen Johnson was tragically cut short in the Brighton Heights neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Gunshots echoed along Termon Avenue shortly after 2 a.m., prompting calls to 911. Responding officers discovered a grim scene at a residence, finding Jalen Johnson in a doorway with a fatal gunshot wound to his chest. Paramedics were unable to save him and pronounced him dead at the scene.
