Robert Cade, an 18-year-old male from Pittsburgh, PA, tragically died on August 30, 2021, after being shot multiple times in the Homewood South neighborhood. The incident occurred around 11:55 p.m. on August 29, 2021, when police responded to a ShotSpotter alert for 13 rounds fired on Tioga Street. Cade was found in the street with multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in critical condition, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after midnight.
