On a cold December morning in 2014, the body of 22-year-old William Jackson-Bosley, a Black male from the Pittsburgh area, was discovered lying on the side of Taft Avenue in the city's Beltzhoover neighborhood. It was just after 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 13th, when authorities were called to the scene. Emergency responders found that Jackson-Bosley had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his neck and was pronounced dead at the location.
