In the autumn of 2017, a young Black man's life was cut short in a tragic act of violence in Philadelphia. Twenty-five-year-old Robert Vicks was found on the first floor of a residence on the 1900 block of Redfield Street on the evening of Sunday, October 8, 2017. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
