On July 11, 2024, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Philadelphia police officers were alerted to a shooting inside the Frankford Convenience Store located on Pratt Street near Frankford Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old store clerk Kenneth Kennedy-McLeod, known affectionately in the neighborhood as "Flock," lying unresponsive in the employee section of the store.
