In the spring of 1967, a 23-year-old Indigenous woman named Margaret Mildred Batoche, also known by the nicknames Wanchisco and Millie, vanished. She was a resident of the Bonnyville-Moose Lake area in Alberta. Margaret was last seen on May 26, 1967, at the York Hotel in Edmonton, Alberta.
