Faree Givens, a 29-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on October 21, 2021, in Philadelphia, PA. He was one of two people struck by gunfire that evening. Philadelphia Police officers responded to the 900 block of West Cambridge Street at around 5:51 p.m. and found Faree suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to Jefferson Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries later that night.
The second victim, a 14-year-old Black male, was found inside the residence and
was transported to Temple Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition. The incident remains an unsolved case, and the Philadelphia Police Department has urged anyone with information to come forward. The ongoing investigation has yet to yield any arrests or suspects, and no litigations or murder trials have been conducted in connection with Faree Givens' death.
