On January 18, 2022, at approximately 6:48 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a call at a mini-mart located on the 2100 block of 72nd Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Black male, Alexander Gaddy Jr., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
