Shantee Tucker, a 30-year-old Black transgender woman, was tragically murdered on September 5, 2018, in Philadelphia, PA. She was shot eight times on Old York Road, an area known for its history of violent crime. According to police reports, Shantee had a brief argument with an unknown person or persons inside a black Ford pickup truck, which led to the shooting.
