In the early morning hours of a Monday in North Philadelphia, tragedy struck, forever altering the lives of three young men. On that day, November 1, 2021, gunfire erupted near the intersection of North 15th and Parish Streets, shattering the predawn quiet around 2:30 a.m. When the chaos subsided, three men were left with devastating injuries.
Among them was 22-year-old Jaden McCaskill, a male who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his back.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, Jaden McCaskill succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead.
