On a Thursday afternoon in Philadelphia, what should have been an ordinary day turned into a scene of violence that tragically cut a young life short. On December 22, 2022, 24-year-old Montez Jackson, a Black male, was inside a gray Nissan parked on the 3400 block of H Street when the unthinkable happened. Without warning, four men reportedly approached the car and unleashed a hail of gunfire. Jackson was struck multiple times in the assault.
