Alfred James Williams, a 14-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on August 24, 2019, in Philadelphia, PA. He was shot in the back of the head while playing in the schoolyard of W.C. Longstreth Elementary on the 5700 block of Willows Avenue. Despite being rushed to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, Alfred succumbed to his injuries two days later on August 26, 2019.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m., and it is believed that the shooter fled the scene in a burgundy-colored Chevy Malibu.
