In the summer of 2019, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm at a school playground in Southwest Philadelphia, tragically cutting short the life of 14-year-old Alfred James Williams. On Saturday, August 24th, in the schoolyard of William C. Longstreth Elementary School located in the Kingsessing neighborhood, the young male was struck by at least one bullet to the back of the head.
