On October 14, 2019, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a tragic incident occurred in the Tacony neighborhood. Four-year-old Maxillië Alcindor, along with her ten-month-old sister Damaya Alcindor and their father, 35-year-old Max Alcindor, were fatally shot inside their home. The perpetrator was identified as their mother, 28-year-old Damyrra Jones.
