In the early afternoon of a late March day in 2020, the life of 22-year-old Omar Diante Jenkins was tragically cut short on the streets of North Philadelphia. On March 30th, at approximately 12:17 p.m., in the area of Boston Street and Park Avenue, a burst of gunfire shattered the midday calm. When police arrived at the scene, they found Jenkins suffering from multiple gunshot wounds that had grievously wounded his face, neck, back, and abdomen.
