On May 13, 2020, 16-year-old Marcus Wells Jr., a young African American male from Pittsburgh, PA, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident in Wilkinsburg. The incident occurred near the intersection of Laketon Road and Robinson Boulevard shortly before 9:10 p.m. Marcus was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later at the scene.
