In the early morning hours of the Fourth of July weekend in 2020, violence shattered the quiet of a Pittsburgh neighborhood, leaving a family and community to mourn a life cut short. Keith D. Byrd, a 34-year-old Black male, was discovered lying in the street on the 100 block of Shetland Street in Larimer, suffering from gunshot wounds.
