Shaliyah Davis, a 25-year-old woman, was fatally shot on July 16, 2020, in North Philadelphia. Davis, who was four months pregnant at the time, was sitting in a Ford Escape SUV on the 2500 block of West Berks Street when a gunman approached the vehicle, opened the door, and shot her once in the head. She was rushed to Temple University Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, along with her unborn child.
