Death by Force

Valenzia Jones, a 31-year-old Black woman, tragically lost her life on September 18, 2022, in Philadelphia, PA. She was shot inside her vehicle on the 1700 block of Lehigh Avenue around 5:44 a.m. Police officers responded to the scene and found her in critical condition. Despite their efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital. Another victim, 35-year-old Dante Woodard, was also shot multiple times and later succumbed to his injuries on September 20, 2022.
