Travis T. Ponce Debach, a 28-year-old man from Allentown, PA, tragically passed away on September 7, 2021. He was born on January 22, 1993, and was the son of Marcell Ponce and Deborah Debach. Travis was known to be a quiet young man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
On the day of his death, Travis was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on North 6th Street and Allen Street in Allentown.
He was quickly transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced dead at 5:06 p.m. An autopsy determined that the cause of death was gunshot wounds, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
The Allentown Police Department, along with the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Homicide Task Force and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, launched an investigation into Travis's death. Despite their efforts, no suspects have been charged, and the case remains active and ongoing. Authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
