Tamir Aubrey Simpson, a 20-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on October 3, 2021, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On that fateful day, Philadelphia Police officers responded to a call at the 4500 block of North 17th Street and found Tamir suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, Tamir succumbed to his injuries on October 14, 2021.
