Candido Salazar, a 43-year-old Latino man, was tragically killed on August 9, 2008, in Paramount, California. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the 8000 block of Rose Street, where Salazar and his neighbor, Jose Villa, were having a barbecue in the parking lot of their apartment complex.
