In the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood of Philadelphia, on February 23, 2022, a tragic scene unfolded that cut short the life of 19-year-old Iyad Muhammad. He was discovered inside a silver Kia Optima on Arizona Street, having been fatally shot. Iyad, a Black male, was in the front passenger seat of the vehicle. Alongside him, in the driver's seat, was 20-year-old Juan Carlos Sanchez, who had also been shot and killed. Both young men were pronounced dead at the scene by medical responders.
