Ahmir Jones, an 18-year-old male from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost his life on November 16, 2021. He was fatally shot in the chest while walking with his girlfriend on the 1700 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue near Temple University's campus. The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. when two armed men approached them, demanding the girlfriend's cell phone.
