Thalyl "Baby 9" Taylor, a 17-year-old African American male from Philadelphia, PA, tragically died on March 21, 2020, from a gunshot wound to his shoulder. While undergoing surgery for the injury, he suffered a massive stroke and was subsequently removed from life support on March 26, 2020. His death was a devastating blow to his family, especially his mother Chimere Quattlebaum, who had already lost her older son, Thomas "Manny" Page, to gun violence in 2018.
