Jasahn Barnes, a 30-year-old Hispanic male from Philadelphia, was killed on December 15, 2021, in a sudden burst of gunfire along the 3100 block of Kensington Avenue. That afternoon, around 3:43 p.m., SEPTA officers saw a man fire a handgun into a crowd. Barnes was struck several times throughout his body and was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he died later that day.
