On the night of January 3, 2022, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Philadelphia Police Officers responded to a residence on the 900 block of Magee Avenue in the Lawndale neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered 35-year-old Black female, Tasena Jennings, lying on the kitchen floor with multiple gunshot wounds to her head and chest.
