Joshua Kinglee, a 27-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was shot late Thursday night, January 27, 2022, in West Philadelphia. The shooting happened on the 5600 block of Market Street, near 56th and Market Streets, in the 18th Police District. Philadelphia police responded around 11:25 p.m. and learned that Joshua had already been rushed from the scene to HUP Cedar Hospital in a private vehicle, suggesting that someone nearby tried to get him medical help before officers arrived.
