A sense of unease settled over the 600 block of Vander Avenue in York, PA, on the night of March 5, 2022. Inside one of the homes, a domestic disturbance escalated, shattering the evening's quiet with the sound of gunshots. When police arrived, they found 48-year-old Marlon Randy Diaz, a male resident of the home, deceased. It was a violent end to a life, and the second homicide in the city that day.
