Tyre Johnson, a 20-year-old male from York, PA, tragically lost his life on September 12, 2019. He was shot near the intersection of North Pershing and Jefferson avenues around 9:45 p.m. on September 11, 2019. Johnson was transported to WellSpan York Hospital, where he remained in critical condition before succumbing to his injuries the following night.
