On July 4, 2020, 17-year-old Juan Rosario was tragically shot and killed in York, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. in the area of Maple and Duke streets. Rosario, who lived on North Queen Street, was transported to York Hospital but was pronounced dead at 1:06 a.m. The York County Coroner's Office ruled his death a homicide, noting that he suffered a gunshot wound to the torso.
