Tiffany Fletcher, a 41-year-old woman of African American ethnicity, was tragically killed on September 9, 2021, while working as a pool maintenance attendant at Mill Creek Playground in West Philadelphia. Fletcher was caught in the crossfire of a gun battle that erupted near the playground, and she was struck by a stray bullet while she was outside sweeping. She was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
