Vera Coward, a 59-year-old woman from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost her life on July 25, 2019. She was shot and killed by her brother, Wallace Coward, inside their home in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood. The siblings had an argument that began at a car dealership and continued at their home on the 2600 block of North 33rd Street. Wallace Coward, aged 65, shot Vera twice in the chest and twice in the stomach before she was pronounced dead at a hospital.
