Fareed Muibi, a 24-year-old Black / African American male, was killed on Sunday, September 11, 2022, in Southwest Philadelphia. The shooting was reported in the late afternoon, around 4:26 to 4:30 p.m., on the 2100 block of Cemetery Avenue, near the Kingsessing area. When Philadelphia police arrived, they found Fareed suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics responded, but he could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
