Meshack Kinyanjui Babu Mwangi, a 62-year-old Black male, tragically passed away on August 25, 2014, in Columbus, Ohio. He was found with a gunshot wound to the upper body in front of a residence on Greenwich Street. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to OSU Main Hospital, he was pronounced deceased the following morning.
The circumstances surrounding Meshack's death remain under investigation.
The Columbus Police Department's Homicide Cold Case Unit has been actively working on this case, seeking to bring justice to his family. Unfortunately, as of now, there have been no arrests or suspects identified in connection with his death.
