On September 21, 2022, Marcus E. Deloney, a 32-year-old man from Columbus, OH, was tragically shot and killed following an argument over a parking spot. The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. on Highfield Drive in the Sharon Heights neighborhood. According to police reports, both Deloney and the suspect, Johnnie J. Wappner, displayed firearms during the altercation. Deloney was rushed to Riverside Methodist Hospital but did not survive.
