Robert Newbern, a 30-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically died on November 28, 2021, from a gunshot wound to the head. He was found in the yard of a home in the 1500 block of East 25th Avenue in the Linden area. Newbern was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition but was pronounced dead at 3:12 p.m. the following day.
