Carl Carroll, a 38-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically died on May 23, 2021, after being shot. The incident occurred early Sunday morning when Columbus police officers were following a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed toward Mount Carmel in Franklinton. As the vehicle pulled up to the emergency bay, several people exited the car, and officers discovered Carroll, who had been shot, inside the SUV.
