Malcom Allen, a 19-year-old Black male, was shot in the middle of the day on November 5, 2015, in Cincinnati’s Pleasant Ridge neighborhood. Just after 12:40 p.m., gunfire erupted outside an apartment building near Silverleaf Avenue and Montgomery Road. Responding officers and medics rushed him from the scene to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries later that day, the coroner confirming his death and identity soon afterward.
