Je'Vohn M. Hill, a 27-year-old male, tragically lost his life on March 10, 2017, in Columbus, OH. The incident occurred around 7:55 p.m. when Columbus police received a call about people screaming and crying at a home on the 3100 block of Maize Road in North Linden. Upon arrival, officers found Je'Vohn and his younger brother, Jeronn Hill, both shot and deceased at the scene.
The investigation into their deaths led to the arrest of Brian Banks, a 30-year-old man, on February 2, 2024.
Banks was indicted on multiple charges, including aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, and felonious assault, in connection with the shooting deaths of Je'Vohn and Jeronn Hill. The U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team apprehended Banks at a home on the 900 block of John H.
