In the early morning hours of July 6, 2023, a tragedy unfolded in a Shorewood, Wisconsin, home that cut short the life of Tashika Scott-Dixon, a 41-year-old Black/African American woman. The incident, which occurred around 4:30 a.m. near Murray Avenue and Lake Bluff Boulevard, was an act of domestic violence that left a family shattered.
