On July 6, 2023, 41-year-old Tashika Scott-Dixon was fatally shot in her Shorewood, Wisconsin, home. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. near Murray Avenue and Lake Bluff Boulevard. Another woman, identified as Scott-Dixon's daughter, was also shot but survived and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
